Nestle India has strongly denied allegations circulating on social media claiming the presence of worms in Maggi noodles. The company clarified in a stock exchange filing that these claims are baseless and that all its products strictly adhere to established quality and safety standards.
The company stated that the complaint was brought to its attention by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. However, no samples were received from the complainant, and attempts to contact the individual were unsuccessful. Independent testing by NABL-accredited laboratories confirmed that the products are safe and meet FSSAI norms, reinforcing Nestle’s commitment to quality.
