Audi India is considering manufacturing a battery electric vehicle (BEV) domestically, according to Brand Director Balbir Singh Dhillon. He said the company expects to make a decision on the proposal within the next two months. The move could mark a significant step in the company’s plans to strengthen its presence in India’s electric vehicle market.
Audi India also aims to increase its market share in the luxury car segment from 8% to 16% over the next three years. To achieve this target, the company plans to focus on customer priorities, introduce new products and expand its dealership network. These measures are intended to strengthen Audi’s reach and improve its position in India’s competitive luxury car market.
