Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has once again become a trillionaire after the value of shares in Tesla and SpaceX rose. On Monday, Musk’s net worth increased by around $65 billion to reach $1.04 trillion. Since the beginning of this month, SpaceX shares have gained 13%, while Tesla shares have risen 6.7%. This marks the second time this year that Musk’s wealth has crossed the $1 trillion mark.
Musk’s net worth had previously crossed the trillion-dollar threshold after a sharp rise in SpaceX shares amid expectations surrounding its IPO. However, the valuation later came under scrutiny, with some experts considering the market expectations too high, leading to increased selling pressure and a decline in Musk’s wealth below the trillion-dollar mark. Currently, investor interest in both SpaceX and Tesla remains strong. Shares linked to Tesla and SpaceX account for about 98% of Musk’s net worth.
