

Gold prices witnessed a sharp rise today across India. The price of 24 carat gold increased by ₹3,980 per 10 grams to ₹1,49,730. Meanwhile, 22 carat gold rose by ₹3,650 to ₹1,37,250, while 18 carat gold gained ₹2,990 to reach ₹1,12,300 per 10 grams.
According to the Goodreturns website, as of 10 AM, the price of 24 carat gold stood at ₹1,49,730 in Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Nizamabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Kadapa. The prices of 22 carat and 18 carat gold in these cities were ₹1,37,250 and ₹1,12,300, respectively.
Gold prices also remained firm in other major cities. Chennai recorded the highest price at ₹1,50,000 for 24 carat gold, while Delhi stood at ₹1,49,860. Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru reported ₹1,49,730 per 10 grams. Market experts attribute the sharp rise to strong domestic demand and global market trends.
