Google Cloud services in India have been disrupted after a fire broke out at a third-party data center in Delhi. The incident led to the shutdown of networking equipment, resulting in interruptions to cloud services across several regions, according to the cloud computing unit. However, details regarding when exactly the incident occurred are yet to be disclosed.
Due to this disruption, network traffic in several cities including Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai was affected. The company stated that restoration efforts are currently underway. In the cloud services sector, Google Cloud continues to face strong competition from Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
