

Andhra Pradesh IT and Human Resources Minister Nara Lokesh said the state aims to build a strong ecosystem that will not only attract investments but also position Andhra Pradesh as a key player in the global digital economy. He inaugurated IBM's new Consulting Future Now Centre in Visakhapatnam along with IBM India and South Asia Managing Director Sandeep Patel. The centre will provide consulting, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, software engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation services to clients across the globe.
Speaking at the event, Lokesh appreciated IBM's commitment to Andhra Pradesh and said the government would work closely with the company to make Visakhapatnam a leading hub for AI and digital transformation in India. Sandeep Patel said India has a significant opportunity to lead the digital world under the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. IBM Managing Partner Usha Srikanth added that the company is focused on creating better employment opportunities for local youth.
