Stock Markets End on a Positive Note

Indian benchmark stock indices ended the day on a positive note despite opening on a flat trend. At the close of trading, the BSE Sensex gained 166.49 points (0.21%) to settle at 78,094.64, while the NSE Nifty advanced 43.95 points (0.18%) to close at 24,361.10.

Among the top gainers were Bajaj Finance Ltd., Hyundai Motor India Ltd., and Netweb Technologies India Ltd. On the losing side, Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd., Sagility Ltd., and Sapphire Foods India Ltd. witnessed declines during the trading session.
