₹10 Lakh Immediate Aid Announced for Families of Missing Fishermen

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced immediate financial assistance of ₹10 lakh for each family of the fishermen who went missing near Visakhapatnam. Officials have directed the district administration to ensure prompt disbursal of compensation to the affected families. The decision aims to provide immediate relief during this difficult period.

Following requests from the victims' families, the Coast Guard has extended its search and rescue operation until 12 noon tomorrow. Authorities stated that once the operation is completed, an official report regarding the traceability of the missing persons will be issued. Based on that report, the required certification process through the designated committee will be initiated to complete further legal formalities.
