Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reviewed the land survey details of Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram villages in Siddipet district. Officials informed him that Survey No. 325 in Erravalli has 388 acres recorded in revenue records, while a field-level survey identified only 343 acres, leaving a discrepancy of 45 acres. The Chief Minister directed officials to ascertain the location of the unaccounted land and issued directions for a fresh survey in the two villages.
As part of the survey process, revenue authorities are preparing to issue notices to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family members whose lands are located along the boundary, seeking relevant revenue records and documents. The government has also proposed distributing the land identified in Survey No. 325 to eligible local farmers.
Revanth Reddy further directed officials to develop a Telangana Martyrs’ Colony on the identified government land for families of those who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana statehood movement. The colony will include house sites and basic amenities for eligible families, with the Telangana Housing Board expected to oversee the project. The Chief Minister set June 2 as the deadline for completing the colony.
