Advanced Technology for Singareni Mines - Deputy CM Bhatti

A high-level delegation led by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with senior officials from Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and GMMCO Ltd, is on an official visit to the United States. As part of the tour, the delegation visited leading mining equipment manufacturing facilities in Texas and Arizona to explore advanced technologies aimed at improving safety and operational efficiency in Singareni coal mines.

The team inspected autonomous and remote-controlled mining equipment at the Caterpillar Demonstration and Learning Center in Arizona before visiting Komatsu Mining Corporation's facility in Texas. Discussions focused on advanced mining technologies, maintenance support, spare parts availability, and long-term technical collaboration. Officials believe these initiatives will enhance worker safety, reduce operational costs, and support Singareni's long-term modernization and clean energy transition goals.
