Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sudarshan Reddy has issued an important advisory to voters regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. He stated that eligible voters whose names are deleted from the electoral rolls during the process can apply for fresh registration through Form 6, subject to the applicable rules. As part of the SIR exercise, officials will verify voters’ details, addresses and other relevant information.
Sudarshan Reddy urged voters to check whether their names are included in the electoral rolls in advance. If a voter finds that their name has been deleted, they should contact the concerned election officials and submit an application through Form 6 along with the required documents. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that every eligible voter’s name is included in the electoral rolls so they can exercise their right to vote.
