The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will operate special bus services during the Dasara festival to manage the expected surge in passenger traffic. A total of 5,261 special buses will be operated from October 16 to 25 across various routes. The additional services are aimed at helping passengers travelling to their hometowns during the festive period.
Among the major destinations, 1,186 special buses will operate to Hyderabad, 475 to Bengaluru, 440 to Visakhapatnam and 347 to Rajamahendravaram. The APSRTC will also run 247 special services to Tirupati and 153 to Chennai. Additional buses may be deployed based on passenger demand during the festival rush.
