A major step has been taken in the development of Amaravati, with the Andhra Pradesh government accelerating efforts to transform the capital into a people-centric and world-class city. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday officially inaugurated the Seed Axis E-3 road along with newly constructed steel bridges. A large number of capital-region farmers and local residents attended the event. After inaugurating the road, Chandrababu addressed a public gathering and said that developing Amaravati into a world-class city remains a key priority of his government. He said stalled capital works from the previous government had been revived and assured that the sacrifices made by farmers would not go in vain.
The Chief Minister said the newly constructed steel bridges and connectivity roads, built using modern technology, would provide fresh momentum to Amaravati’s development. Ministers Nadendla Manohar and P. Narayana, MLAs Tenali Sravan Kumar and Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao, MP Bhashyam Ramakrishna and other dignitaries attended the programme. Ministers and officials briefed the Chief Minister on the project details as they accompanied him during the visit. Local farmers and residents welcomed the renewed pace of capital works and extended a warm reception to the Chief Minister.
