AP government releases DSC notification

The state government has given good news to the unemployed candidates waiting for teaching jobs in Andhra Pradesh. The District Selection Committee (DSC) on Tuesday released a short notification for the recruitment of a total of 2,721 teacher posts. This has created new enthusiasm among thousands of candidates in the state.

Through the notification released on October 13, 2026, 2,111 posts will be filled in the Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) and School Assistant (SA) categories in general schools. Along with these, another 350 posts will be filled in the SGT and SA categories in the special education department and 260 posts in the societies category, the government has said. The full notification with post-wise vacancies, reservation details and other important information is likely to be released in another three weeks.

In accordance with the job calendar announced by the state government, this announcement has been made before the local bodies election code comes into effect. The online application process will begin after the full notification.
