AP MPs Present 'Amaravati' Coffee Table Book to Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar

A delegation of Andhra Pradesh NDA Members of Parliament met Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar at his Parliament office and presented the coffee table book titled "Amaravati: Built by the People... Protected by Destiny." The publication chronicles the history of Amaravati, the people's movement, and the vision behind rebuilding Andhra Pradesh's capital. Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) was among the MPs who participated in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Kesineni Sivanath said the book vividly documents the sacrifice of Potti Sriramulu, the 1,631-day farmers' and women's movement, and the historic decision to restore Amaravati as the state capital on June 2, 2024. He described the publication as a symbol of the self-respect of the people of Andhra Pradesh rather than just a book. The MP also highlighted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's vision to develop Amaravati into a world-class capital with the support of the NDA government and discussed several Vijayawada-related issues with the Union Minister, who reportedly responded positively.
