The Andhra Pradesh NTR Vaidya Seva Trust has taken action against hospitals found involved in irregularities under its healthcare scheme. The trust has imposed fines totalling ₹34.39 crore on 203 hospitals as part of its efforts to curb violations and ensure that beneficiaries receive appropriate medical services. The action is aimed at holding network hospitals accountable for compliance with the scheme’s rules and guidelines.
As part of the enforcement measures, 25 hospitals have been suspended, while payments to 13 hospitals have been withheld. Five hospitals have been removed from the network list, and the recognition of one hospital has been cancelled. These measures reflect the trust’s action against hospitals over alleged irregularities. The move is intended to strengthen oversight and safeguard the interests of patients relying on the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme for healthcare.
