AP SIR Deadline Extended

The Election Commission has extended the deadline for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Andhra Pradesh until July 24. The decision was taken following a request from the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), and a revised schedule has been officially released.

As per the updated schedule, the deadline for polling station rationalisation has also been extended to July 24. The draft electoral roll will be published on July 31, while voters will be able to submit claims and objections regarding the electoral rolls from July 31 to August 30.
