

shada Bonalu celebrations were held with great fervour across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on Sunday. Devotees turned up in large numbers at the Lal Darwaza Simhavahini Mahankali Temple in the Old City from early morning. On behalf of the state government, Endowments Minister Konda Surekha offered a golden Bonam, while Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar presented silk clothes and performed special prayers. Union Minister Bandi Sanjay also visited the temple and offered a golden Bonam. Ministers and public representatives performed special prayers and presented offerings at several other temples, including Amberpet Mahankali, Chilakalguda Katta Maisamma, Akkanna Madanna Mahankali in Haribowli, Karwan Darbar Maisamma, Uppuguda Mahankali, Meeralam Mandi Sri Mahankali and Sri Bhoolakshmi Mata Temple in Begum Bazaar.
Several other prominent temples, including Ujjaini Mahakali Temple in Secunderabad and Pochamma Temple in Borabanda, also witnessed visits by ministers and public representatives. MLC Vijayashanti offered a Bonam at the Borabanda temple, while former Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Government Whip Aadi Srinivas presented silk clothes at Khilla Maisamma Temple in LB Nagar. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy and BJP Telangana president Ramchander Rao visited several temples and offered special prayers. BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao, accompanied by former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, visited the Akkanna Madanna Mahankali and Lal Darwaza Simhavahini temples. Temples across the city witnessed large crowds of devotees during the festivities.
