Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has directed officials to organise roadshows across six industrial parks to create awareness about the HILT policy. He suggested that the roadshows be led by ministers and instructed officials to examine and clear eligible applications from industrial parks where there are no objections under the policy. The directions were issued during a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting chaired by Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy to review measures for mobilising additional revenue for the state.
Bhatti Vikramarka directed officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan to make effective use of available state resources and increase government revenue. The meeting also focused on attracting large-scale investments into tourism. Officials were asked to prepare around 80 tourism projects for presentation to domestic and international investors at the Telangana Rising Global Summit scheduled for December 7–9, 2026. The government is also exploring PPP-based development of tourism assets, including heritage sites, while steps have been discussed to expand tiger tourism and establish caravan parks in three districts.
