BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan, along with MLAs Kaleru Venkatesh, Muttha Gopal, Dr. Sanjay and MLC Koti Reddy, met Telangana Lokayukta Justice A. Rajasekhar Reddy and submitted a complaint over the alleged land allocation irregularities involving Tesseract Aerospace. The BRS leaders alleged that five acres of government land in Raviryala, Rangareddy district, worth around Rs. 200 crore, was allotted for approximately Rs. 7 crore. They questioned how such valuable land could be allotted to a company that, according to their allegations, had a paid-up capital of only Rs. 1 lakh and zero employees.
The BRS delegation further alleged that Tesseract has links with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s family, claiming that his brother Kondal Reddy is the company’s chairman and his nephew Nayan Reddy is its CEO. They alleged that Nayan Reddy became the CEO five months before the land allocation. The leaders also raised questions over the company’s website, photographs allegedly taken from the European Court of Auditors website and alleged benami arrangements. The BRS leaders urged the Lokayukta to stop and cancel the land allocation, investigate the alleged role of the Chief Minister and send a report to the Governor. They also demanded an inquiry against Minister Sridhar Babu and TGIIC officials under applicable anti-corruption laws and BNS provisions.
