Centre Steps Up Efforts to Secure Support for Delimitation Bill

The Centre is reportedly working to secure the required two-thirds majority for the proposed Delimitation Bill. Discussions are underway to garner support from various political parties, including the DMK, Shiromani Akali Dal, NCP and YSR Congress Party. The government is also considering whether to reach a compromise on the FCRA Amendment Bill by referring it to a Joint Parliamentary Committee.

Meanwhile, former President Ram Nath Kovind’s autobiography is set to be released tomorrow by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The book, titled Bharat Ganarajya Ke Vijay Ki Kahani, is based on Kovind’s life and struggles. The launch is scheduled for 9:30 AM at Vigyan Bhavan.
