CJP-Centre Talks Conclude

Talks between the Central government and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) have concluded, with the party placing three major demands before the Centre. According to CJP representatives, the demands include the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, ₹1 crore compensation each for the families of students who allegedly died by suicide due to paper leak-related issues, and the withdrawal of cases registered against protesting students. CJP representatives said the Centre responded positively to the latter two demands but did not immediately agree to Pradhan’s resignation.

According to the party, the Centre sought one day to communicate its decision regarding the demand for Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. CJP, however, maintained that the Union Minister must step down and warned that its agitation would be intensified if the demand was not accepted. With the resignation issue remaining unresolved, further developments are expected after the Centre communicates its decision.
