

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, Dr. Shilpak Ambule, during his visit to Singapore. The High Commissioner briefed the Chief Minister on the strong economic and trade relations between India and Singapore. Chandrababu emphasized that Singapore should emerge as a key partner in Andhra Pradesh’s development journey and urged greater participation of Singapore-based companies in investing across sectors in the state.
Highlighting the state’s strengths, the Chief Minister elaborated on opportunities in food processing, electronics, semiconductors, and quantum technology. He also pointed out potential in shipbuilding and civil aviation, including MRO centers. Chandrababu noted that Andhra Pradesh is progressing in natural farming across 20 lakh acres and producing globally competitive horticulture exports. He invited collaboration in robotics, medical devices, and electronics manufacturing, while also seeking academic partnerships between Singapore universities and AP institutions to support future-ready talent.
