

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met Bharti Enterprises Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion in Hyderabad. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao also attended the meeting. The Chief Minister explained the state's ongoing education reforms, including the modernization of government schools, the establishment of a Skill University, and the transformation of ITIs into Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) to enhance skill development.
During the meeting, CM Revanth urged Airtel to expedite the Chandanvelly Data Centre project and explore setting up a larger integrated data centre and AI infrastructure campus in Telangana. He also encouraged the company to expand its digital, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI operations in Hyderabad. Responding positively, Sunil Bharti Mittal said the Bharti Foundation would provide scholarships to students in government schools and ATCs. He added that Airtel considers Hyderabad its second headquarters and plans to expand its data centre capacity and fibre connectivity in the state.
