Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was absent from the inauguration programmes attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Thursday. Chandrababu inaugurated the Amaravati Steel Bridge, MLAs’ quarters and the Seed Access Road. Despite Minister Narayana reportedly inviting Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister did not attend the event and travelled to Visakhapatnam in the morning.
Pawan Kalyan instead participated in Elephant Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam. His absence from the Chief Minister’s programme has reportedly led to discussions among officials. The development comes amid reports that Pawan has already skipped three Cabinet meetings, adding to speculation about coordination within the state government.
