A large number of devotees thronged the famous Srikalahasteeswara Temple in Srikalahasti on the occasion of Amavasya. The temple premises and surrounding areas witnessed heavy crowds as pilgrims gathered in large numbers to seek the blessings of Lord Srikalahasteeswara. Long queues extended from the first and second gopurams, with devotees waiting patiently for darshan.
Temple authorities made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth movement and comfort of devotees. The waiting time for free darshan was nearly three hours, while special darshan took around one to one-and-a-half hours. Drinking water facilities and cooling arrangements were provided to help devotees cope with the summer heat. Senior temple officials closely monitored the arrangements throughout the day.
