Engineers' Association Demands Promotions Along with Filling Vacancies

The AP Panchayat Raj Diploma Engineers' Association has urged the government to implement promotions for Assistant Engineers (AEs) and Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) in a fair 50:50 ratio, in accordance with the Presidential Orders. The demand was made during the association's state executive meeting held at the Panchayat Raj Engineer in Chief's office in Vijayawada.

The association also requested the government to fill vacant Technical Assistant and Junior Technical Officer posts either through Engineering Assistants or by direct recruitment. It further appealed for the withdrawal of ACB cases registered by the previous government over MGNREGS cement road works executed between 2014 and 2019.
