EO Anjana Devi Confirms Midnight Theft at Basara Temple

EO Anjana Devi has confirmed that two unidentified intruders entered the Basara temple at around 12:15 midnight and committed theft. She stated that a silver crown and the hundi were stolen, while gold ornaments such as nose pins and sacred thread items were left untouched. The stolen silver crown is reported to weigh around 1.22 kilograms.

In Nirmal district, SP Janaki Sharmila visited the Basara temple and inspected the premises along with surrounding areas. She reviewed the theft incident and confirmed that special police teams have been formed to track down the accused. Investigation is currently underway to identify and arrest the culprits.
