EPFO Portal Upgrade Underway for New Withdrawal Features

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is set to temporarily suspend its online portal services for three days as part of a major system upgrade. The move is aimed at implementing new features and improving digital services for EPFO subscribers across the country. During this period, members may experience temporary disruptions while accessing certain online services.

The central government is introducing these changes to enable enhanced withdrawal facilities, including the proposed option of withdrawing provident fund amounts through ATM-like mechanisms in the future. Officials stated that the upgrade is intended to improve efficiency, security, and accessibility for millions of EPFO members. Subscribers have been advised to complete urgent transactions before the maintenance period begins.
