The Andhra Pradesh government has alerted unemployed youth about fake job scams being carried out in the name of the Health Department. Fraudsters are allegedly using government logos, official seals, the National Health Mission (NHM) name, and the Health Commissioner’s office address in Mangalagiri to create fake recruitment notifications, interview call letters, and appointment orders. The Health Department has lodged a complaint with the CID regarding the issue.
Officials warned people not to pay any money in the name of processing fees, registration charges, or certificate verification for government jobs. They clarified that recruitments in the state Health Department are conducted only through the Andhra Pradesh Medical Services Recruitment Board (APMSRB) and District Selection Committees led by collectors. Candidates were advised to check only official websites for notifications and report suspicious messages or fake appointment letters to authorities.
