Folk Star Nagadurga Begins a New Journey as a Heroine

Telangana folk songs continue to receive tremendous appreciation on YouTube and social media, and folk dancer Nagadurga has emerged as one of the most popular performers in the genre. In a recent interview, she revealed that the song ‘Thinna Teeram Padathale’ brought her overnight fame and transformed her career. She said the song earned her more than 100 opportunities and became a turning point in her life.

Apart from being a successful folk performer, Nagadurga is also a trained Kuchipudi dancer who has completed her master’s degree and is preparing to pursue a PhD. She currently runs a dance institute where she trains over 100 students. After appearing in ‘Kalivi Vanam’, she is now making her mark as a lead actress opposite Priyadarshi in ‘Idupu Kayitham’, produced by Sukumar Writings and Bunny Vasu Works.
