Forbes Lists 27 Indian-Origin Leaders Among America's Greatest Immigrants

As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th Independence anniversary, Forbes has unveiled a list of the 250 Greatest Immigrants Living in America. The prestigious list recognizes individuals who have significantly influenced the nation's economy, society, science, culture, and public life. Notably, 27 Indian-origin personalities have earned a place on the list, highlighting the immense contribution of the Indian diaspora to shaping modern America.

The Indian-origin honorees include Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Sanjay Mehrotra, Indra Nooyi, Jay Chaudhry, Vinod Khosla and Abhijit Banerjee, among others. Forbes also highlighted five immigrants who profoundly transformed America: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elon Musk, Sergey Brin, Jensen Huang, and Rupert Murdoch. The list comes at a time when immigration continues to be a major political topic in the United States.
