Fresh COVID 19 Cases Raise Concern in YSR District

Fresh COVID 19 cases have raised concerns in YSR District, with six new infections reported recently. According to available information, two people from Kadapa and Rajampet have already died after testing positive for COVID 19. A family member of one of the deceased has also tested positive, adding to concerns over the spread of the virus.

With the latest cases, the total number of active COVID 19 cases in the district has reached eight. Meanwhile, criticism has been raised over the government's response, with allegations that apart from setting up a COVID ward at RIMS Hospital, adequate preventive measures and COVID protocols have not been effectively implemented. Officials are yet to respond to these allegations.
