Good news for AP employees

The Andhra Pradesh government has lifted the ban on general transfers of state employees and permitted transfers for a limited period. According to the official schedule, transfers will be carried out from May 1 to May 31. Employees who have completed three years at the same posting will be required to move, while certain relaxations have been provided for married couples.

The Finance Department has issued the necessary orders to implement the transfer process. The government also clarified that the ban on transfers will be reimposed from June 1, 2026, after the completion of this one month window.
