

On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla urged citizens to take collective responsibility in curbing drug usage. He emphasized that building a healthy society requires individuals, especially youth, to stay away from narcotic substances. Highlighting the growing concern over drug abuse, the Governor called upon everyone to actively participate in awareness and prevention efforts.
Delivering a strong message, he said, “Say no to drugs and yes to a healthy life.” He further stressed that achieving a drug-free Telangana and a drug-free India is possible only through the united efforts of society. Encouraging young people to adopt positive lifestyles, he underscored the importance of awareness, education, and community participation in eliminating the menace of drugs.
