Government Accelerates Clearance of Pending Dues

The Finance Department has released an additional ₹2,000 crore to clear pending dues of employees and pensioners. With a similar release last month, the total disbursement has reached ₹4,000 crore. The government is implementing its promise to release ₹6,000 crore within 100 days.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stated that the government is fulfilling its commitments despite financial constraints. The Finance Department confirmed that all pending General Provident Fund (GPF) dues for retired employees and Zilla Parishad teachers have been fully cleared. Commutation arrears up to September 2025 have also been settled, along with thousands of small pending bills.
