An Agriculture Department official linked to the case has also been suspended.
The minister said the Urea App has significantly improved transparency in fertilizer distribution and played a key role in detecting the fraud. He warned that the government will not tolerate any irregularities in urea distribution and that strict action will continue against those responsible. Tummala reaffirmed that protecting farmers' interests remains the government's top priority.
