The Telangana High Court expressed strong displeasure over the functioning of HYDRAA in two separate cases. In one case, Justice B. Vijay Sen Reddy directed HYDRAA to remove within 24 hours a board that identified a private property in Saheb Nagar, Hayathnagar, as government land. The court questioned how such action was taken without issuing notices to the landowners and sought a detailed counter, posting the matter to August 11.
In another case, Justice N.P. Shravan Kumar criticized HYDRAA and the Serilingampally Tahsildar for allegedly demolishing a compound wall and watchman's room on a private plot in Kondapur without prior notice. The court questioned the basis for declaring the land as government property and directed the Tahsildar to appear personally on August 30 with an explanation.
