A key accused in a narcotics trafficking case, who had been evading arrest for nearly eight months, has finally been apprehended by the EAGLE team. According to Nallapadu Police, hotel owner Sheikh Khaja was identified as being involved in the illegal drug trade during an investigation conducted eight months ago. Authorities found evidence suggesting that he had been procuring narcotic substances from other regions and supplying them across Guntur city, nearby villages, and neighboring districts for several years.
During the investigation, police also discovered narcotics allegedly linked to Khaja at a house in Nallapadu. Following the registration of a criminal case, the accused reportedly went into hiding after learning about the police action. Special teams were formed to track him down, and after months of surveillance and search operations, the EAGLE team successfully detained Sheikh Khaja and handed him over to Nallapadu Police. He was subsequently arrested, and officials have launched a detailed investigation into the case and his alleged network.
