Eight private junior colleges have been booked for allegedly forging the signature of HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath on Fire No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and submitting fabricated documents to the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education. According to officials, the institutions allegedly created fake certificates and used them during the recognition process, raising serious concerns over document forgery and regulatory compliance.
Following the alleged fraud, HYDRA's Additional Director lodged a formal complaint at Lake Police Station, leading to the registration of criminal cases against the eight colleges. Authorities have also requested the Intermediate Board to cancel the recognition granted to the institutions. Further investigation is underway to determine the extent of the alleged forgery and identify those responsible.
