IIT Madras Launches Online Executive Certification Programmes in EVs, AI, Supply Chain and More

With rapid technological changes reshaping the job market, acquiring industry-relevant skills has become increasingly important for professionals and students. Keeping this demand in mind, IIT Madras has introduced a range of online Executive Education and Certification Programmes focused on emerging and high-demand sectors. The programmes cover areas such as electric vehicles, manufacturing, supply chain management, artificial intelligence, construction technology, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). The courses combine recorded lectures with live interactive sessions, with durations ranging from two weeks to six months depending on the programme.

Among the programmes, the Certificate Programme on Electric Vehicles (CPEV) is a four-month course, with registrations closing on October 8 and classes beginning October 9. The fee is ₹62,000 plus 18% GST with laboratory access and ₹50,000 plus 18% GST without the lab facility; candidates with engineering, B.Sc. and related qualifications can apply. The two-week Master Class on ESG begins November 13 and costs ₹10,000 plus GST. The Supply Chain Management Professional Certification (SCMPro) starts November 2, with applications open until October 31 and a fee of ₹25,000 plus GST. The Supply Chain Management Data + AI programme begins November 1, costs ₹65,000 plus GST and does not require coding experience.
