IMD Forecasts Below-Normal July Rainfall

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that below-normal rainfall is likely to continue during this month in several parts of the country. At the same time, the southwest monsoon is expected to advance further into Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh over the next two days.

The IMD also stated that heavy rainfall is likely over the northeastern states and adjoining areas of West Bengal during the coming days. Residents in these regions have been advised to stay alert and follow weather updates issued by the authorities.
