

IRCTC has announced a special pilgrimage package for devotees wishing to visit major spiritual destinations such as Kashi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Gaya, and Bodh Gaya. The tour offers an opportunity to visit some of India's most revered religious sites at an affordable cost under the Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme.
The 9 day pilgrimage will begin from Tirunelveli on September 9, 2026, and conclude on September 17, 2026. Passengers can board the train at several stations, including Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchirappalli, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram, Chennai Egmore, and Gudur. The itinerary includes visits to Mahabodhi Temple, Vishnupad Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Vishalakshi Temple, Kalabhairava Temple, Ram Janmabhoomi, Triveni Sangam, and Hanuman Temple.
IRCTC is offering three package categories. The Sleeper Class package costs ₹16,700 per person, the Third AC package costs ₹26,100 per person, and the Second AC package costs ₹34,100 per person. The package includes train travel, accommodation, meals, local transportation, and temple visits. IRCTC has also announced a discount of up to 33% under the Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme.
