Khairatabad Ganesh Preparations Begin with Grand Karra Pooja

The preparations for the famous Khairatabad Mahaganapathi celebrations in Hyderabad began with the traditional Karra Pooja ceremony. Senior leader Danam Nagender and MP Anil Kumar participated in the event and officially unveiled the poster showcasing this year’s Ganesh idol design. The ceremony marked the commencement of construction and festival arrangements for one of the country's most renowned Ganesh celebrations.

This year, devotees will witness Khairatabad Ganesh in the divine form of Panchamukha Sankatahara Mahaganapathi. As part of the grand spiritual setup, a replica of the Somnath Jyotirlinga will be placed on the right side of the idol, while Goddess Kalika’s idol will be installed on the left side. Organizers stated that the theme has been designed to offer devotees a unique spiritual experience during the Ganesh festival.
