Koheda Set to Become Home to India’s Largest Integrated Fruit Market

Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao visited Koheda in Abdullapurmet Mandal of Rangareddy district and reviewed preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Integrated Fruit Market Yard, which will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister. During his visit, the minister issued directions to officials to ensure smooth arrangements for the prestigious project.

The Integrated Fruit Market, to be developed over 179 acres with state-of-the-art facilities, is expected to become the largest of its kind in the country and a landmark project for Telangana. The government aims to strengthen the horticulture sector, expand the cultivation of horticultural crops, and improve farmers' incomes through modern marketing infrastructure. Minister Tummala stated that the Koheda Fruit Market would serve as a major boon for horticulture farmers across the state.
