

Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is attending the two-day Chintan Shivir 2026 at Ekta Nagar near the Statue of Unity in Gujarat on October 5 and 6. Organised by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under the chairmanship of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, the workshop will focus on PM GatiShakti, highway infrastructure and Centre-State coordination on major projects. Komatireddy travelled to Gujarat along with R&B Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj and senior engineers. Before leaving, he met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and discussed key infrastructure projects in Telangana.
During the visit, Komatireddy is expected to discuss Telangana’s key road projects with Nitin Gadkari and seek support for their progress. The minister also met NHAI Chairman Santosh Yadav after reaching the Chintan Shivir venue and discussed projects in the state and their progress. According to a statement from his office, Komatireddy said Gadkari was giving special attention to road development across the country and appreciated his cooperation with states beyond political considerations.
