The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) has postponed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, following suspicions of a question paper leak. The decision was taken after the council received confidential information regarding a possible leak from Bhiwandi.
According to the official notification, authorities acted immediately to maintain the integrity of the examination process. The suspected leak has raised concerns among candidates, and further investigation is underway. The council is expected to announce a revised examination date soon.
