The Forest Department has launched a large-scale operation to safely capture a tiger that has been roaming in the Polavaram region. Acting on the directions of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, officials have initiated a special mission named "Operation Hanuman." More than 200 personnel have been deployed as part of the operation, which is being closely monitored by senior forest officials.
To strengthen the rescue efforts, a team of wildlife experts from Bengaluru is expected to arrive in Rampachodavaram on Friday. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and avoid entering areas where the tiger has been spotted. Officials emphasized that the operation aims to ensure both public safety and the protection of the animal, following established wildlife conservation protocols.
