Massive Operation Delta Hunt in Gujarat

Gujarat Police have detained 362 illegal Bangladeshi nationals under “Operation Delta Hunt”. According to the Director General of Police, authorities are also verifying and interrogating 782 more suspected individuals linked to illegal immigration activities.

The operation is based on intelligence from a database of over 6,200 suspected illegal immigrants and mobile number analysis connected to Bangladesh based contacts. During intensified checks at bus stations, railway stations, and key transit points, 18 individuals attempting to flee were also apprehended.
