A series of powerful explosions were reported in Dubai's Jebel Ali industrial area on Tuesday night, causing panic among residents. According to local media reports, at least seven loud blasts were heard within a span of about 20 minutes. Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from the area, which is located close to one of the world's largest seaports. Satellite imagery reportedly showed a fire at a fuel storage and logistics warehouse near the port following the explosions.
The exact cause of the explosions remains unclear, and UAE authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident. Details regarding casualties or property damage are also awaited. Some media reports have cited claims linking the incident to the Houthi movement, while other reports have referred to allegations of a missile attack originating from Yemen. However, these claims have not been independently verified or officially confirmed, and investigations into the incident are expected to provide further clarity.
